these head gaskets failed from his chip,he has a das dacq programer(think thats how to spell it)can get up to 350hp tunes,he told me he had it over 1600 deg exhaust temp once,#5 cyl had clean star patern on piston and blue upper cyl.no damage luckaly as these motors have a tendancy of melitng pistons from inj. probs.head was warped .07 had to be machined......i dont think head bolts are the prob as i had to use a 4 ft snipe on my snapon braker bar to loosen them,,impact would not even budg them......also some posibilities is the heads had tiger stripe machinin groves on them ,same problem that plagued 6.0,mls gaskets wont seal unless it has a extra smoth surfaces.......p/s this truck only has 55,000 km on it and ford flaged it as having power chip ,so no warrenty any more....i installed elite studs....new ford gaskets are coper in color, black sealer in between mls layers and 3 thin layers and one thick layer, different from 6.0 multi thin layers, they look like a better gasket but we all well know looks don't mean much
