You need to remove the HPOP to get access to the Non-Serviceable Plug. Once the pump is out you can replace it, with common tools.
Dieselsite offers good instructions on pulling the pump
He also offers Instructions for replaceing the plug. Along with parts (New Plug) to do the job if needed. and all the needed gaskets and seals to do the job.
