Fire-D sounds like you to may have a bad egr cooler (worst case head gasket). The reason you arent getting heat is because your coolant is probably low. As L-SS stated above, run it to normal operating temp, then park it with the nose down hill overnight then pull the egr valve and see if you have coolant sitting in the hole, if so its a bad cooler, if not its prob going to be the head gaskets.
