that is the bottom line. Take it back to stock so that they don't just flat deny your warranty without knowing what is really wrong.
I have taken mine in under warranty without removing the banks and had no issues, but it was for the blend door. I did tell my guy that is was on there and not to reflash me. They are pretty level headed where I am.
