Manual Remote Start
Hi guys, I am looking to surprise my boyfriend with a remote vehicle starter for our '05 F350 XLT.
I did a search for remote car starters for diesel engines, and came up with lots of answers...but none that I am looking for.
He works a lot in Northern Canada, where temperatures drop to -40 and even -50 degrees celcius. When it's that cold, he insists on warming the glow plugs twice, even if the truck is plugged in.
So....I'd like to find a remote starter that will allow you to warm the glow plugs manually, instead of just delaying the engine start to allow glow plugs to warm. Is there such a thing? If there isn't, does anyone have any suggestions? I'm totally clueless!
