It has been a long time since I even looked at a gas motor on a truck so I could be wrong. Check and see if your gas pedal is connected to the engine compartment or engine with a cable. If it is you will need the motor and cable. On the Powerstroke the pedal is electronically controlled and there is no need for a cable.
