Re: Anyone running SVO/Biodiesel in their IDI's?

Some people ARE running SVO conversions on PSDs, whic are electronioc on DI just like Duramax, ditto with VW TDI. I wouldn't say its impossible, just experimental, and its possible you might get burned. Its not surprising that DTF was able to run 100% WVO using the methods he stated, as a lot of research has been done on this sort of thing, and as long as that oil is heated to a point where it flows like biodiesel/#2 and the FFAs have been neutralized as per the tritration, you should have NO problem as long as you start and stop on diesel or biodiesel. Too much junk to think about for me though. I'm always in a hurry and would most certainly forget to switch back to diesel sometimes, so it'll be biodiesel and/or #2 for me!
