Ah yes. I remember seeing that article now.

It's synthetic diesel fuel made from gas in a process similar to the one used to make synthetic motor oil.

Main advantages: uniform molecular structure and no sulphur. Both of these help emissions.

Disadvantages: Cost, and it's still a fossil fuel.
