Re: Pro Comp. Shock Owners Please Respond
I have them on mine. I also have U-codes on the front. I am pleased with the Pro Comp ES3000 shocks and ES2000 steering stabilizer. I got them at a great price from 4 wheelparts. $130 delivered to the door for 4 shocks, 1 stabilizer and 5 boots. I have not tried the Ranchos or Bilstiens. I did try the Edelbrock IAS once on a Suburban and was not really impressed, especially when one tried to kill me. It was leaking and when I removed it the shock exploded and almost hit me in the head. It was in 3 pieces. Anyway the only problem that I had was with the rears. I can not believe that Pro Comp has not run into this before. The application chart is wrong. The computer, both 4wheelparts and mine, as well as the book, I saw it, show the same shock for the rear from a 0"-4" lift. They were not even close. The shock body was almost as long as my entire stock shock. Other than that no problems. I did not put the boot on the steering stabilizer, I have read that it can hold waster. Good luck.
