Re: 4x4 vs. 2WD Ex
I live in snow land but I don't tow, off road, or launch boats. Therefore, I have never had a big reason to have a 4X4. I've found that the weight of the vehicle and a good set of tires is all that I have needed. I didn't want the maintenance problems, expense, rough ride, instability, and tire wear issues. Since you don't seem to have a defined need for a 4X4, a 2WD will probably do well for you. Good luck and let us know what you wind up with.
