Re: what does EGR bypass do
Little plug next to the fuel filter and what is does is sends exhaust back in the intake. Think of running a marathon, putting a garden hose up your butt, than when you are needing fresh air badly, put the other end of the hose in your mouth. Yuk!!! Well how good do you think that would be for your performance? Dirty exhaust does not really do a lot of good for your engine. Unplugging it may set a code.
