Thats exactly what I was thinking I know the elbows out by my stacks get hot enough to melt an igloo cooler but I also have a tool box in the bed so I was thinking of making the fuel tank so it would mount right above the cross pipe and between the stacks and fit between the bed and toolbox then use a piece of sheet metal and block off the rest of the bed under the toolbox so all the heat would have to go up around the fuel tank but this alone would not be enough if it gets cold cause if you're not running it hard say in town driving or if roads slippery or idleling the exhaust is cool enough to touch [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]
