Re: Hose material

My brother inlaw has been running his Jetta on WVO for 10,000 miles now.He used one inch hose with the opac white poly type tubing inside to run the oil thru.On each end He has a tee the poly runs straight out thru a compression fitting to seal it Out of the branch the water is routed to the engine and to the tank .The tank has a oil cooler for a heat exchanger. He used the style with inverted flare fittings and used steel tubbing to connect to the exchanger and out of the tank to the coolant lines.I am leary of using rubber hose on my truck due to the length.I was thiking to use the poly tubbing and run it inside of some sealtite flexable conduit. It would protect it and hold all the tubes together.I was thinking of using 1/2 inch lines but not sure if that would be enough for the water.
