Patrick, I hate to say it on a Ford Forum, but most say that the 4BT will bolt up to a GM tranny, because they were used in General Mistake bread trucks like for the Merita Company and such. Awesome find. What kind of shape is the 3.9 in? Good luck with the project. It would be nice of you if you could get us pics and dimensions on the 4bt since a lot of members have contemplated using them for one or another gas to diesel conversion.
