My truck has the 3:55 gears and this may be an issue as my tires are about 8-9% taller than stock 32" vs 33.5".

But I run 70 MPH + at just under 2000 RPM add 8-9% to that speed for the tire offset,,,, so I guess I'm running around 80 MPH @ 1900 or so RPM.

I have wondered if these gears are actually hurting my mileage,,, do 3:73's do better on economy????? I know they will require higher RPMs but is that a "sweet spot" for economy????? Am I alredy lugging it???
