Tks. for info. interesting. Often wondered how long f/f would last. At least you got it going/made it back. Off topic... but my old 88 F250 w/460 had over 70K before I changed orig. f/f.

Maybe there's something to what a local fuel driver told me. In our area, in ground tanks were being made out of fiberglas (no corrision/gunk build up?) & good filtering system. Maybe same in areas you travel to get that long f/f service. Maybe change alittle sooner next time. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img]
