There might be different additives from the MC oil and the Rotella, but both are good and rated for our trucks, I have been using the MC 15W40 so far, I have a little over 18K miles on my truck now, as for the filters, I have been getting all of them from
www.Filter1.com, I have not had any problems. Thats like getting a MC oil filter at the dealer, $$ or buying it from Walmart ect for alot less, until now that they have discontinued them. At filter 1 the part # for the oil filter 57314 ($11.07 each) , fuel filter 33599 ($37.25 both of them in the box) and air filter is part # 42731 ($36.61) free shipping on 6 or more filters ordered at a time.
