Is it safe?
Recently I took my truck in to have an oil leak fixed. They added stuff to the oil so they could locate the leak with a black light. They could not find the leak and told me to come back when I need an oil change (about 2000 miles) and they will check it again. Is it ok to leave this additive in for the next 2000 miles or should I change my oil now? I now think the "leak" was residual oil from a previous oil leak. At least they steam clean the motor this time.
