I also agree with the vanes sticking. You see them more when towing due to the heat/expansion issue. The out of state flashes cause the the check enigne light to stay off but yours will leave a p2263 code most likely. Have it checked for any codes. They may just put the ebp sensor on it at first since it is not actively sticking. If the code reappears or the same problem. Hook up the trailer and have them monitor it when it happens or drive it with the vdr. (flight recorder)
I would also say that since you are getting out of yours. The dealer you are working with isn't that good otherwise you should ba made happy. forddoes not want to buy these back all of the time and have started a team at the hotline who calls and works with the tech to make sure teh truck is done and done right.
