Be very careful I had a similar thing happen on my suburban and without realizing it I broke the ez-out in the brass. It just screwed into the brass and got stuck. The ez-out needs to bottom out in the hole before you can back out the bolt, in this case, you are trying to get out a brass tube and the ez-out will not bottom out, it just screws in and makes the brass tighter in the hole. So be very careful if it does not back out easily you probably are going to have to drill it out and re-thread the hole. Be careful...good luck
