Glad to hear you got your truck fixed. While growing up, I watched my grandfather extract a bolt that had broken off in a casting. The EZ extractors hadn't been invented yet so we (HE) did it the old fashioned way.
He placed the casting on his mill and carefully located the center of the bolt. He then started with a small drill bit and drilled a hole into the center of the bolt. He kept upgrading to a larger drill size and redrilled the hole each time. Eventually, all that was left was the threads of the bolt in the threads of the casting. From there, we carefully pulled out the threads and we were done. Only took two hours. LOL!
