Sheer morbid curiousity made me go look at those sites..... What jumped out at me was:
1) (TDR link) The number of low mileage trucks that needed lift pumps; and
2) (Schoolbusfleet link) The number of comments about the 5.9 not being strong enough for use in medium duty applications..... (Isn't that one of the most widely quoted comments the Dodge boys use?? That their engine is a "true medium duty" engine and that the IH "light duty" engine?? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img] [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img] [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]) Kinda shoots a hole in their argument, doesn't it?? The cracked block issue doesn't sound too good either......
