Re: Where is the Cummins engine??? 6.4?

I have an 05' 6.0L crew 4x4 loaded to the gills. I have owned several 7.3's and I also own an 04' Dura-max. I love Ford trucks mainly because they take what I dish out. If I had to pick any current diesel for my Ford it would be the Dura-max.

What I don't like about the 6.0L PSD

1. Low end dead pedal feel. (if you need a quick burst to get into traffic you have to think twice)

2. with a 12,000lb trailer at 75mph on an uphill the 7.3 rips the 6.0 a new a-hole.

3. For the guy who put the water seperator under the driver seat in the frame rail........Here's your sign.

4. Fuel milage does not even come close to my Dura-max.

What I love about the 05' Ford.

1. Love the ride of the coil front end.

2. Turning radius is nice.

3. Love the tow command and tow haul on the tranny.

4. Continnental Tires are awesome and actually work in the snow.

The truck/chassis is first class all the way. The 6.0L engine is without doubt in my mind a step backwards.
