Get your RPMs up. 2,500 is more like it. Pulls more cold air through the intake and cools your stuff off with a quickness. Also, what power level are you running at? Seems to me your temps aren't all that bad at all. Sometimes you have to downshift even if the truck doesn't feel like it needs it, to pull more air through to cool it off.

Also, the guy talking about running water/meth, you probably won't notice any EGT drop unless you just run straight water. Adding meth adds heat, it is a fuel, too.

However, I am convinced that a guy could tow a lot more weight with just some more RPMs under the hood, and turn your chip down or off altogether when pulling the grade.
