Re: Why are my temps always warm?

n2quads:

I ran the SCMT programmer for a couple of years. We probably take the same trips out to Fallon etc. Even out there on the flat desert I could have egt issues. I finally got rid of the SCMT and put in 4 position chip from DP tuner. Night and day difference! More power and cooler EGT's overall. Did I mention more power??? My truck will pull my LOADED 33' 5er, (4 quads, 100 gal water, 40 gal fuel, tools, compressor, wife, kids blah blah blah etc) over Donner Summit at 65+ mph. EGT's at 1150/1200.

I once got stuck behind a big rig on a 5% upgrade. Slowed to about 40 mph. Traffic cleared and I put my foot into it. Driving it right at 1250 EGT, I was up to 60 mph in no time. It just keeps on pulling!

Sorry to sound like a cheerleader here, but Jody's tunes have given me a new truck.

Brian
