Jet will have much higher sulphur levels. About 3000 ppm over 500ppm for on-road diesel. So you should change your oil sooner.

I do not know the effect of high sulphur fuels on EGR engines. Since the 7.3 doesn't have egr, we don't care. But the extra sulphur forms extra sulphur dioxide, an acid gas. Then this is recirculated in EGR engines. Could cause a problem?

My diesel farm tractor's manual suggests that lubricity can be raised by adding SAE 10 weight oil. Hard to find this stuff, let alone the non-detergent type. The synthetic 2 cycle oil sounds like a good substitute.

Kerosine has less energy per gallon than diesel. You should expect lower mileage.
