Tach 'er up to about 3200 before you shift if you're in a hurry. You'll be happier with the results when you yank the next gear. It took me awhile to get used to this, but I'll take mine up to 3400 or 3600 before I shift, and it performs well. It won't hurt the engine, it'll blow the soot out of the egr, and hell, it's FUN!
