I just got back from my trip, wife said you called & I saw your post - did jacking up the rear of the truck up really high get it & keep it running & show pressure on the factory guage/switch?
You can check lube pressure in another spot off the oil filter/cooler to block casting as theres a port there with a small pipe plug in it but if your not getting any to the resivior I'm pretty sure you wont get any pressure there either.
If no pressure, I hate to say it will be engine pulling time as its pickup tube time [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
