Bought my scales off of an ebay store, the phenolphthalein from a wine making supply, test tubes were what my cigars came in.
Do a search for "A Visual Guide to Titration". I think it was here: http://www.localb100.com/forum/ The author wrote it simply enough so that an idiot like me can understand.
