Scrounging for filtering parts...

In my quest constantly improve my WVO filtering system, I am always tweaking my design. If anything... I have learned that the best systems are necessarily designed... they simply have evolved.

I am looking for an adapter that I can use for a spin-on oil filter... something with a 1" (or so) in/out opening that I can use for filtering WVO.

I have been looking at replacement car parts for a bit, but haven't really found what I am looking for. The closes I have found is at Red Line Pumps... they have a 'spin on filter adapter' that fits the bill, but it costs $50 (+5 S/H).

If nothing else materializes, I might go down that route.

Any input on spin-on oil filters that get me to around 5 microns or lower would also be appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.
