Re: oil leak from dipstick tube at oil pan

Mine was leaking and I got lucky the first time and tightened the nut and it quit leaking. On this engine in it now I couldn't get it to stop, so I cleaned the entire area with carb cleaner and coated the seams with grey RTV sealant.
