With any trailer wiring hooked into the truck, mileage drops between 9.5 to 10, doesn't matter the weight. I am with kuttysark40. I just returned from a trip to the beach, pulling 28ft travel trailor 9000lbs +/-. Trip down 10.49mpg, trip back up 9.68. Drove a little faster coming home 75-80 vs 65-70 going. Normally empty I get 16.5 - 17.5 mpg.
