Grampy, that is exactly what I have done.
Cal, my edge chip can pull up the codes that is how I know what is happening.
Everyone else, the truck is in the shop as we speak. The advisor at the shop said Ford is getting very picky about the 6.0's and running chips with them. He told me if this was a 7.3 warranty coverage is not a problem.
Here is what I told him.
1-Diagnose the problem,
2-do not fix,
3-Call me first to let me be the judge on who is fixing this and who is paying the bill.
At this time I'm having a hard time believing that this chip could of caused the problem....but this is just mear speculation, until I have hard facts I will wait to judge who is at fault.
