BfricknC, this will be one of those touchy subjects where everyone will chime in and you will get lots of opinions on what you should or should not have done. The real question is what to do now, and the decision will ultimately be yours so I can only tell you what I would do. I would pick the truck up and, since most electronics work or don't, I would unplug and replug the FICM just to make sure there were no corroded connections and check the harness for chafing. If that did not cure the problem, then I would order a FICM through 1stfordparts.com for $594.78 and replace it myself. If you decide on that route the part number is;

Old Partnumber: 3c3z12b599aarm
New Partnumber: 4C3Z12B599AARM
As far as the Edge module causing the problem, personally I do not believe it.
