Re: FAQ: Popular Modifications You Might See Referenced on the Forum

It won't work. The people who ask the questions that seem so repetitive for us are new and in a hurry. You might snag a few of the more thorough-searchers, but not enough to make a difference.

But while you're at it, you should add a clause:

If you are tempted to ask which brand or variant of a mod is best, don't be offended if most of your help comes from vendors and/or sponsors. Most truck owners don't methodically install, test, and then remove a long series of different brands of the same mod. This sometimes happens, but so rarely that you are unlikely to gain the attention of the two or three people in the world who are likely to have the applicable experience to provide a pertinent response to your question. If you manage to get in contact with such a truck owner, be prepared to receive a biased opinion. The only people of whom you may maintain a realistic expectation of intimate familiarity with more than one or two brands or versions of a mod are the vendors and/or sponsors. The only way to find out whether a vendor is biased or straight-shooting is to get to know them.

I guess I would also chip in the "Key-in-Ignition" Door Dinger Delete mod (my favorite), in-tank, pre-pump, and bypass filtration mods.
