Bio ok for highly modded truck?

We finally got a local bio fuel pump in my area and have considered running it after reading many posts of how well it cleans and lubricates. I've read that it's ok on slightly modified trucks, but what about those of us who have highly modified trucks? Would we still see a big cloud of black smoke when we got on it? Is bio a way to lengthen the longevity of these motors? I'm sure this all might've been discussed before, but after pages and posts of reading I got tired of searching for the answers.
