well i have bought several fords with chipped keys...the ex's shouldn't be any different than the other trucks...anyways heres what i know...you have to have ford program a replacement and when they do they have to program two(not for sure why) a regular key will do nothing but turn it on and turn it over...oddly enough the keys are programed to the instrument cluster [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]
