Mine blew off several times about 60k ago. It was the oil, untightened clamps, and faulty cac tubing. If I had the problem again out of warranty I would sand the surface, clean with brake cleaner, and maybe use a light adhesive.

Clamps and roughing up the surface is a help but I still contend that that the amount of oil in there is excessive. My method of using oil resistant gasket maker glue works and YES to the mechanics out there it is hard to remove when you have to work on it but you can just cut the hose and replace it. This beats the hose "blowing off" when you don't want it to.
Along those same lines I don't think all that oil being sucked back into the intake is doing much good for the engine. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]
