Re: Turbo Hose blew off again!
Got off my lazy a$$ today and followed roofeditors advice and applied http://www.permatex.com/products/automot...asket_Maker.htm
I applied to 3 of 4 clamp spots on hot side of IC did not do hose to IC or any of the cold side connections YET. Truck will sit for a day to let cure then head over pass with 8000lbs in tow. So we shall see.
I also took the time to flare my tube ends using a crescent wrench, which made a noticeable difference in how the clamps remained positioned when I applied the proper torque (yea right). I am cheesely using zip ties to AC hose to hold the IC tube upright so not sagging and loading the hoses.
