Re: Turbo Hose blew off again!
I worked on my turbo side connections last night just as preventive maintanance. I secured the long aluminum tube to the alternator bracket kind of like D_R_C did and tightened all the clamps ( a couple full turns on each). The outside of the blue tube only had a very light film of oil but nothing like some have encountered. I have a early 03 and what is a bit different is that the long aluminum tube coming from the turbo is insulated which I think from the pics I have seen is not what the newer models have. Mine also has the aluminum tube and not the plastic tube on the cold side. I think they must of used aluminum for a couple of monthes before changing out to the plastic.
