Re: Fuel Drip From Water Drain How can I Fix??

Couple of things, put your truck info in your profile signature so whey someone quotes you it won't pick up all the equipment information just what you commented on. You might get a valve assembly at the dealer for 55 buccks but not " a Complete New Filter/Seporator Housing?" If your fuel drain line is just losing a few drops then it is not draining the fuel cannister. That "refilling" is just your pump cycling on and pressuring up the system when you turn the key on. However, you need to stop that messy drip. There are two o-rings in the drain valve that commonly leak. Some here have used a rubber o-ring from Home Depot, two will cost you less than 5 bucks. I didn't know that at the time I bought an o-ring kit from the dealer, every o-ring in the cannister and valve, rated for diesel, for 30 bucks. But I needed the o-rings for my stock regulator fittings also. 106
