Cool, good job. I always wonder what exactly was the logic in not giving us one from the factory. I'm glad i did this mod also as i use the tach daily, when my tach sensor went out i knew instantly it or the wires going to the sensor were bad, without the tach i woulda been clueless. Only wouldn't had a blinking OD light.
Also, when you're in a rain storm say... it's always nice to be able to look down and know your engine is okay. The rain will be too loud to hear the engine so the tach is your only way of knowing everything is running okay.
