I can help with the small hose. All its doing is sending hot coolant from the heater return line bypassing the radiator cooling area so the transmission oil cooler sees heat sooner and warms up faster to operating temp. You can just replace the heater hose and just plug the bottom radiator where it dumps in at. That fitting will be orficed way down so don't be too surprised when you pull it off. Another Ford better idea that needs to go away. P.S. I hear Ford charges around $100.00 for this hose with the metal line. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]
