ok i looked thru my old magazines and couldn't find it...

the article was a timeline of consumer diesels starting with the old chevy 5.7. basically it said that when the new powerstroke was released in 94, ford had to tune down the idi so it wouldn't outshine the powerstroke. it said the idi can easily be modified to outperform a stock powerstroke.

so how do you turn up the fuel? adjust the fuel pump?
