I would recommend you go with the HD (140A) version vice the duals. Your load really isn't that much compared to say...an ambulance, with its huge power draws for equipment and inverters, which is more the market duals are aimed at.
The best deal on the HD alt is if you go with the "snow plow" pkg. You get the alt, heavier duty front springs and a more agressive fan clutch (will help with cooling when towing). You get all this for $10 more then the price of the alt alone (assumes x-plan pricing).
I could be wrong but I seem to remember a thread (might have been over on the RV board though) about people having problems with burning up one of the duals from running too light a load.
