Re: tranny guys..

I just bought a 92 F250 7.3idi s/c auto 2wd. The truck is in excellent shape with 110,000kms. The trans seems to shift okay when unloaded, but with my 26' 5th wheel, it seems to upshift from 2-3 too quickly. Sometimes within 1 second of the 1-2 shift. It is like the trans is sensing too easy of a tow and it just upshifts. The obvious result is "instant bog" and loss of speed while I react to it and try to regain the lost MPH. I can hold it in 2 manually, or if I step the pedal down, it will down shift back into 2, but it really is anoying. Is there some aftermarket "Tow/Haul" accessory which could be installed, then activated via a switch on the dash to hopefully adjust the shift points and/or characteristics when towing?
Any comments are appreciated.
Clyde
