Pop/Crack
Somewhere under the truck there is a popping/cracking sound. When I put it in gear and just give it a little pedal I hear it. I can stop again and it may or may not happen. Seems to be heard when turning as well. the problem is that I can't get under the truck and listen because the engine is so loud I can't hear anything. I do notice that where the axles pivot just under the oil pan, there seems to be alot of clearance around the pins as though the bushings may be worn, but I don't know how much if any is normal. I do know that the truck shakes quite abit and the steering is hard to control. I have had it at the local spring and brake shop for a frontend alignment last year and they said all was ok but it was still hard to keep on the road after the alignment. What should I be looking for/at?
