Design stolen by/shared with GM?

http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums...howtopic=10791

These aren't the best shots, but it looks like Chevy and Ford are pretty much pulling parts off the same shelf. Look how close the side mirrors on the new heavy duty red GMC dually in the third picture look to the side mirrors we've seen on spy shots of the '08 Super Duty. Mounting points look a bit different(Ford's look a bit better), but man they have the same lines and square design.

Which leads me to my question. Does Ford outsource design on stuff like this? Maybe the same company designed Chevy's? Seem too close in design, unless one company had a spy in the other's design room.
