I could be wrong ...but I would bet lots of cash on it being your HPOP quick connect fitting....under which lies an o-ring and when that begins to fail you will have longer crank times on warm starts..and eventually it dies or does not start either way needing to be towed in...I have been chasing the noise for a while and have replaced the belt, idler pulley , alternator, droped the tranny pan, and inspected the turbo....through the process of elimination and much reading I now know what it is...there is an updated fitting for 05/06's (problem years) the part # is 4c3z-9b246-a...it has a bracket to prevent the problem...
