At 23k mine sounded the same as yours torino...problem is arround 46k it took on a different demenor....if in deed we are all talking about the same noise......if it's a 05/06 you better off having it checked then being left hunting a tow truck..in my opinion....they seem to go one of two ways progressively worsen with noise (mine) and sudden failure with no symptoms noted by owner....good luck..
